Written by Sarah Leigh and developed at the Sundance Institute, One Day is a call-to-action short film that aims to open up conversation around accessibility & inclusion in non-disabled households. One Day is the first screenplay of Sarah's, who has written the piece based on her own experience of raising her disabled son. It was part of the Official Selection in the Screenplay category of the Oscar/BAFTA-qualifying Flickers' Rhode Island Film Festival 2022, and in the top 20% of scripts on Coverfly.

 

LOGLINE: Over the course of a day, a mother tries to navigate through a world that is inaccessible and judgmental towards her disabled son, but she soon realises that change could be just around the corner.
